But at least it didn't suck!
Roomie bought two movies: RuthlessToothless People and SNAKES ON A GODDAMNED PLANE. I loved the first one and the second one was okay...took itself too seriously at some parts but was balanced by doing utterly ridiculous stuff as well. Eh, action-horror-thriller-whatever-the-hell just usually isn't how I roll. This, sadly, isn't an exception but Tropic Thunder was. EDIT...on second thought, TT doesn't count 'cuz a)it's not horror and b)it fails at racism commentary. B-BUT IT HAS EXPLOSIONS so I guess that's why I tolerated it.
Also saw Coraline and omgiloveeet. LOOOOOOOOVE it. omg. The graphics/animation was awesome, the musical score was awesome and the story line...guess what...OSM! asdjfhasials<3
...sorry, I'll mop up. Anyway, 'mates and I decided that, yeah, this is definitely the Nightmare Before Christmas(my nightmare fodder) and Little Nemo(their nightmare fodder...and possibly mine that I blocked out) for little kids today. In fact, while coming out of the theatre I noticed the spaced out looks on the kiddies faces. Awww~ Look at them, being all traumatized~ Looks like the cycle begins again!
