Emperor New Groove- Ah one of the best, underrated and hilarious Disney movies ever. Even when I was in my short-lived 'I hate Disney' stage in high school, I loved it. In fact, it made me respect Disney again. And it had Eartha Kitt in it! What more could you ask for?

Rocko's Modern Life- It was in this awesome Nick show where I learned that 'laundry day is a very dangerous day.' One of the funniest cartoons of its time, aside from Pepper Ann. DAMNIT GIVE US A BOX-SET, NICK! GRRR

Card Captor Sakura- It was my first foray in to the chaotic yet pretty world that is CLAMP. It stands as one of the best magical girl series (that is made by women) in my mind. Oh and Kero-chan and Tomoyo rock the casbah!

XXXHolic- For a while, I had steered away from CLAMP after CCS and Magic Knights Rayearth. X/1999 and Wish didn't capture me. Clover was okay but was too expensive (or non-existant) at the time. Then, TRC hit the stands, which was cool for a while til it started to take forever to get the next issue. Holic was my stand by. At first, I didn't like any of the characters but Yuuko and the twins. How ironic that I'd turn out to love it more than TRC and that Watanuki is now what I consider a well-rounded character. (Yuuko's still my favorite though.)

daydreaming- What all artist do. Flying, distant worlds, magic, and possible futures...Seriously, it's one of my favorite past times. For I am a procrastinator! :D

BL- Mmm...boy's love. This is (last time I checked) the romantic version of yaoi. You know what? I'd prefer it over sexxorsz anytime. Give me a good reason for these two dudes to get together with society's pressures and their own ignorance against them and I will love you forever~ That goes for GL too!

Vespas- They're so sleek and cute and ...kinda sexy! Also, they're great if you live in a city like San Fran where there is barely any parking spaces. The only downside is that they're two passengers only (if you can squeeze) and are very, very expensive. Whatever. I want one. Once I hit it big, I'm going to get one. >)

3x4x3- One the first OTPs I bandwagoned on when I first entered the interbutt back in...1998-ish. The show was Gundam Wing. The characters were Trowa Barton (03's pilot) and Quatre Rabarba Winner (04's pilot). God, I was so into it, it's kinda embarrassing. (If you think I'm bad with my OTP's now? Ya should have saw me then.) Know what though? I still think they make a damn fine couple no matter what the backlash-slash-het people are saying now. Whatever they're saying; I left that fandom a while ago for Digimanz, sort of.

Animal Cops- You're a college student, eh? Back at home for the summer? Got no job? Got nothing better to do? Well have I got the show for you! Heh. Animal Cops is a, you guessed it, cop show that airs on Animal Planet. I know how badly people can treat their pets or at least I thought I knew. In all seriousness, (Elisa, if you're reading this) I shouldn't become a crazy old cat/dog/parrot/snake(?) lady unless I can take care of all those animals. Because, even if pets are good companions they shouldn't become living plushies that you'd leave on the window sill to collect dust. It's not right...and the animal cops'll come after me. D:

BONE (the comic)- EPIC GRAPHIC NOVEL. NO, REALLY. Jeff Smith is my hero and I wanna be like him some day. Er...yeah the story. So there's this lil' guy named Fone Bone who was kicked out of his town because of his cousin's antics, Phoney Bone in particular (Smiley Bone is just there for the ride :D) Soon, the boys find themselves covered in locusts, living in small towns, eating pies, oh, and saving the world. The art is gorgeous. The story line is terrific and all of the characters KICK ASS. *ahem* So if you haven't, CHECK IT OUT. There's colored versions in separated volumes of it now. (I want it soooo baaaaddd.)

Living Single- A fine, fine sitcom with a predominantly Black and female cast. ...Do you know how hard that is to do? So many sitcoms suck, especially one's based on Black culture. (I'm lookind at you, The Parkers.) But this one? Was one of the best things to happen on television (and still is. You can catch it on the Oxygen network if you have it.) It was funny, thought-provoking and fresh. It can also be a description of how I'm living now...single and glad of it! :D

Magic Knight Rayearth- EEEK! Magical girls, if you don't know, are my weaaakness. I've only read the manga and only the first six eps of the anime so guess which one I love more~ The characters, perhaps, don't shine the most; it's the story line itself that sets it apart from other action/adventure shoujo, at least to me. I still love Umi, Fuu and Hikaru, don't get me wrong~

Naoko Takeuchi- Oh hay, another one of my heroes! She is the creator of the greatness (or bane to some) that is Sailor Moon. (But did you know that Sailor V came first as a series? Tru fax!) When I started drawing in animu style, I emulated hers. She has a...creative way of...summarizing body parts but I swear to pie she can draw realistically. I saw it...somewhere's. >.>

W.I.T.C.H MOAR MAJIK GRRLZ. Yay for modern girl heroes that come from somewhere other than Japan or the USA! It is an Italian made, Disney comic and cartoon that focuses on the lives and adventures of five girls: Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia, and Hay Lin. They get the standard classic elements plus light BUT they are not cookie cutter characters OR have cookie cutter adventures for that matter. No, this was a breath of fresh air for someone who thought the magical girl genre was dead. :D

...damn I typed too much on that one.

Post a comment, why not? :D

I love most Disney movies but Emperor New Groove is awesome. I love Kronk.

Rocko is a classic. I mean, I was very little so I missed a lot of jokes but, even then...

I only read TRC to understand Holic. I just don't like it when CLAMP goes into Emo-EyeStabbing-Angst Mode.

About BL, I like porn better when I know the characters who are fucking. XP

I have Kronk's New Groove back at home. Though inferior to the original, it is still pretty funny.

I got most of the jokes in Rocko but yeah a lot of them are easier to get now. XD

Me too. Dang that whole arc lasted too long. I mean, angst is fine but that was going overboard.

YES PLZ. Character development before sexxings. *nod*

As for your interests: Ai Yazawa, Daft Punk, Fantasia, Madonna, Mythology, Ryo/Dee, and Yue
