Sadly, I had to retire the Fuu icon that I have. But fear not! I have this new GMD icon to replace it with!

*squishes Elisa* THANK YOU~~ I need to make you an icon. Hmm...

Anyway, here's the Questions Meme. Beware, some of these questions that [profile] nomadskye has asked me are fandom specific, so some of y'all will be like...BWZAH? WHACHU TALKIN' 'BOUT. Yeah, I should put this in my more fannish journal but no I'm lazy.

On to it then!

01. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
02. I respond by asking you five questions of a very intimate and creepily personal nature. But like KK, I'll probably just ask you fannish questions instead, because I don't want to know about that kind of crap. :D
03. You WILL update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
04. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
05. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

1. I want you to go back, way back. What was your first fandom? Maybe not the first show you ever watched, but the first you were really obsessive over. Do you still like it?

Holy crap. I had so many I was obsessed with back then. I'll try to narrow it down. Sonic the Hegdehog otherwise known as the SatAM Sonic cartoon. My first hard crush on a fictional character was Tails. I LOVED Tails. I drew...a self insert-ish character for him. *looks ashamed* I still like him but it's cooled to a favorite character type of thing. Yes, I still like SatAM. In fact, I bummed it off a friend on a bunch of CDs but I left it home...with my Gargoyles DVDs... D:

2. Why did you start writing fanfiction?

You know, I was all of these cartoons and dubbed animes, I never wrote for them; I wrote original stories with original Mary Sues. Argh, I'm kind of glad that's over. I started writing fanfiction around 8th grade for Digimon 02. Never put my one story out because I saw the lynching squad that was on ff.net for anything that was lame. Also, I was depressed about the epilogue (there, I admit it!) so I threw it away. I regret that; it was kinda funny. I was writing a Sailor Moon fic at the time, so I focused more on that.

3. When and why did you decide that Omi/Jack=OTP? (Or that you really like the ship. ;)

I was minding my own business, looking at a XS episode at my Mom's house. The episode was "The Apprentice."  Now, it's bad enough that I like rival-ships, be they het, gl, or bl, then I had to see that episode. I tried to avoid shipping it; I was FINE with sticking to the gen section in this fandom. Soon after, the episode came on again at my grandma's house. The plotbunnies came after me. End of story.

4. What aspects of the show do you think made Sailormoon so popular in the US?

The SHINY. Naw, I kid. No wait. I don't. :P
I think it was because it was different from the norm. Sure, we've had anime in the States before but none that really focused on females specifically. It gave little girls someone else to look up to other than Wonder Woman and the Pink and Yellow Ranger. Then there's the slightly creepy fan-men of it...but that may be a different reason all together. AND THE SHINY!!

5. So, who is Inoue Miyako best with and why?

I liked her with Iori (very cute); I liked her with Hikari; I kinda liked her with Daisuke and Ken ( an OT3 of mine); and I liked her with Wallace (not Micheal. Bah to him!)  but most of all?

I like her with herself. What I'd give to find a gen fic that focused on her (and Hawkmon) and not her with some one else. One of the things that I didn't like about the epilogue was that they made her settle down. I've got no problem with stay-at-home folk but I always seen Miyako as the free spirit type. The type of friend you'd hear from while she's at Europe or Brazil or something. I want to see her on her own adventures, with her trusty sidekick Hawkmon, just to see how she'd get out of trouble.

And then there's Mimi/Miyako, which is hard to not love. :D So I guess I don't have a specific preference for Miya-pairings, but am more of a GO GEN MIYA fics type of person.

Man, I talk too much. D:

Re: Sounds fun!

Will do!

1. Are you still into Sailor Moon and its fandom? Why or why not?

2. When you write, what is your inspiration, like did you listen to music, look at cartoons, etc.?

3. What do you see yourself doing in 10 years?

4. If one of your stories became popular, like say Harry Potter, what would your first reaction be?

5. This one is kind of related to the last question, but how would you react to your fandom's ('cause you'll have one :D ) interpretations of your characters? Pro-fanfic or anti-fanfic and why?

Hahaha, I loved Captain Planet too. XD

And you bring up a good point with the Miya-gen-fic. She was the crushing type but was pretty strong by herself as well. ^__^
