Or is anybody else who used to be/still is in the Gundam Wing fandom noticing the recent backlash against yaoi/slash? Seriously, go to fanficrants and find any GW rant you can. Now, don't just take the entry as the face value of this phenomenon, look at the comments...yeah.

It makes me a bit sad though, 'cause now I'm in the evil empire that is 3/4/3 (Quatre/Trowa) but hay! We've had a monopoly on the state of GW fics since it came out in Japan and the US so it's only fair.
