anime: Ah, yes. I remember back in the days when you had to walk fifteen miles through the snow--uphill, both ways!--just to get to your granma-who-has-cable's house. All of this was just to watch Cartoon Network. Then you got anime and that was the icing on the cake. When I think anime, I see it as just another style that has sub-styles upon sub-styles, art movements after art movements. Just like all art. Which leads to...
art: What I love to do. It's frustrating not always getting exactly what I want on paper but in the end I get it out. It ain't easy and I'm not always good at it, but it's worth the try. :)
San Francisco: I left my heart~ In San Francisco~ This was my home for five years. It's a city with beauty...and many problems. First of all, it's too expensive to live there; there's too many people; and everybody wants a job. But it's probably one of the most down-to-earth major cities you'll ever go to.
CLAMP: Well in my last post, I apologized for being way too hard on them lately. So let me defend them a little bit more. When I was first getting into anime I started like manga much more. A friend of mine in Social Studies class showed me a picture of Magic Knights Rayearth. I cried, 'SAILOR MOON KNOCK OFF'. Yeah I was a dumb preteen. So one day Cardcaptors comes on KidsWB. This was before my mom got internet above dial-up. I didn't know any better and liked the horribafuckus dub all the same. Then I found the manga...and fell in love. Beautiful art, intriguing story, likable characters. Perfect to a 13-14 year old. Yesterday night, I re-read the first six issues ('cause I didn't have an internet card) and it's STILL good even with me realizing some of the tropes within. It just goes to show how important long lasting stories are to people.
Avatar: I'm sorry, I'm just not interested in Dances With Wolves With Smurfs. Oh, that's not the one? Just messin'! So ATLA. Is one of those DVD box sets I want to get. So much. This series is Gargoyles-tier in terms of storytelling and characters. The politics are actually interesting and the cultures are so well-rounded that they had to had been based off of something in real life. (cough. cough.) The fandom may be scary but it's just that good of a show.

1. The character I first fell in love with: Stella. She's justa Sailor V knockoff so much fun. And Flora too.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: It turns out Roxy is kinda cool.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Riven, mainly. And I really don't get the need for most of the boyfriends.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: None.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: None.
6. The character I would shag anytime: None.
7. The character I'd want to be like: None.
8. The character I'd slap: Riven and Musa (to snap her out of it)
9. A pairing that I love: I'm pretty open-minded in this fandom.

11. Favorite character: Flora
12. My five favorite characters: Stella, Mirta, Tecna and Roxy. Layla's alright, but I need to get more of her character since season 4 kinda shunted her off to the side.
13. My five least favorite characters: RIVEN, Bloom (kinda bores me), Sky, Icy (but I don't know why. the other evil witches I don't mind.), THOSE DAMN PETS
14. Which character I am most like: I'm about as unsure of myself as Mirta I guess.
15. My deep, dark fandom secret: I'm more interested in the action than the rather boring romances it brings.THIS ISN'T A SECRET Um, I'm not really impressed by the animation and thought the Enchanix-tranformations were the best ones so far. Really, I just like the sparkles.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Seiya and Yaten
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Um, Mamoru and Chibiusa
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: None.
6. The character I would shag anytime: ...Haruka.
7. The character I'd want to be like: I wanna be as smart as Setsuna or Ami.
8. The character I'd slap: Most of them on occasion.
9. A pairing that I love: All of the manga canon-ships. Hotaru/Chibiusa is also cute.
10. A pairing that I despise: Despise is a strong word, but fandom has turned me away from Seiya/Usa.
11. Favorite character: Chibiusa
12. My five favorite characters: I used to be obsessed with the Amazon Quartet. But I like almost everybody.
13. My five least favorite characters: Yaten, Prince Diamond, but not anyone else and not by much.
14. Which character I am most like: In terms of lazyness, Usagi.
15. My deep, dark fandom secret: I...haven't seen all the last season yet. Just a couple of episodes. This is probably why I don't really care about the Starlights. I know, I know, but I really liked the manga more so I didn't bother to watch the anime. I will soon maybe.
Digimon Adventure (02)
1. The character I first fell in love with: Kari and Daisuke
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Daisuke~
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: None.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: ...Daisuke.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: It's been a while so idk.
6. The character I would shag anytime: None.
7. The character I'd want to be like: Mimi's just so preppy all the time~
8. The character I'd slap: Sora, just to snap her out of her funk.
9. A pairing that I love: Ken/Daisuke
10. A pairing that I despise: None. I may have problems with how certain canon-ships came to be, but I like most of the characters so whatever.
11. Favorite character: Daisuke!
12. My five favorite characters: Ken, Miyako, Kari, Iori and Takeru. The digimon are all pretty fun!
13. My five least favorite characters: None.
