NOT DEAD YET/HAPPY EARLY FATHER'S DAY

Just have nothing interesting to say. Everybody by now knows to avoid signing any Tokyopop contacts that look like this, unless you don't give two shits about your characters. Everybody knows that The Hulk sounds or is awesome, and everyone knows that we could stand to recycle A HELL OF A LOT MORE.

Me? I'm being effin' lazy, reading crack-o-lious pairing fics, and enjoying every second of it 'til I get a temp-job. Also, I'm trying to get over my slight art-cramp. It's the reason why some of y'all haven't seen me on dA for quite some time.

Man, I wish we had a better library system around here. The Philly ones suck and the Montgomery County ones don't have enough books. Oh, San Fran! Another reason why I love you is because of your BEAUTIFUL main library! <3

Anyways, here be a meme!

Name a character from one of my fandoms and I'll give you either (a) three facts about them from my personal canon/fanon, (b) a reason he/she sucks, (c) a reason she/he is awesomecakes, (d) five things that never happened to that character or (e) five people that character never fell in love with and why. You pick the character. I pick the letter.

OH my goodness. I just read that link you posted up, about Toykopop. That is IN-FRIGGIN-SANE!!!! I think one of the commenters summed it up when they said, "Do they really think the "hey, buddy" vibe is going to obfuscate the fact that this contract has you signing away vital organs for free?" The stuff about "moral rights" really takes the cake.

You're right! To me, Iit's not that contracts like this haven't been done before. From what I've heard Marvel and DC have contracts much like this one, but damn, they don't sugar-coat it to this extent! It's a shame when you try to fool younger artists. A real shame.
